This page explains how advertising works on 14MK (https://14mk.com/), how it is kept separate from our editorial content, and what choices you have as a reader.
1. How 14MK Is Funded
14MK is a free resource, and producing it takes time, planning, and research. To keep the site free for readers, we display advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertising is currently our primary source of revenue.
2. How Ads Are Served
Ads on this site are delivered automatically by Google and its certified advertising partners. We do not select, approve, or endorse the individual advertisers or products shown. The ads you see may be based on the content of the page (contextual advertising) or — where you have consented — on your interests and prior browsing (personalized advertising), as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. Editorial Independence
Advertising never influences our editorial content. Specifically:
- Advertisers have no input into the topics we cover, the products we mention, or the opinions we publish;
- We do not give favorable coverage in exchange for advertising;
- Our writers do not know which ads will appear alongside their articles;
- An advertisement on 14MK is not an endorsement or recommendation by 14MK or its author.
4. Ad Placement Standards
We follow the Google Publisher Policies and industry best practices for ad placement. Ads are positioned so they are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, do not imitate navigation or article elements, and do not interfere with your ability to read. We never encourage or ask readers to click on ads, and we ask that you only click on ads that genuinely interest you.
5. Sponsored Content
14MK does not currently publish sponsored posts or paid product placements. If that ever changes, any sponsored content will be clearly and prominently labeled as such, and will remain subject to the same accuracy standards as the rest of the site.
6. Affiliate Links
Some articles may contain affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you — if you purchase a product through them. Products are only mentioned because we consider them genuinely useful, never because of a potential commission. Affiliate relationships, where they exist, are disclosed in the articles that contain them.

8. Reporting a Problem With an Ad
If you see an ad on 14MK that appears misleading, offensive, or inappropriate, please let us know at contact@14mk.com with a description or screenshot of the ad and the page where it appeared. While ads are served by third parties, we can and will report policy-violating ads and block categories where possible.
